![]() I already had one so signed in with my existing credentials. ![]() Plex asked me if I wanted to create a new account or if I already had one. I then connected the shield to my TV, after a bit of hassle I got it to see my NAS and mounted it (whatever that means), installed Plex and ran it. I set up the NAS which was a piece of cake, created a media folder with 2 sub folders (Movies and TV_Shows) and just copied a couple of files (films) to the movies folder. As I didn't have the NAS then and this was just for test I said locally (I assume this was the server I was setting up?) One possibly important point here is when I installed it it asked me if was setting up locally or on a NAS. I also (and i think this is important) installed plex on the PC just so I could see and test the local copies. So that when my NAS did arrive it was a start to copy and paste them to the NAS. ![]() While i was waiting I was busy ripping dvd's and blu-rays to mkv files and storing them on the hard disk of my w10 PC. So after my last post my NAS, hard drives and nvidia shield all arrived today. ![]()
